About MergePilot
MergePilot is a set of browser tools for specific PDF tasks without installing a desktop application. It aims to make common operations—combining files, separating pages and correcting their order—understandable for people who need a useful copy of a document.
What you can do
Main tools merge PDFs, split pages, rotate complete documents, convert JPEG/PNG images and create unprotected copies of supported PDFs when you know the opening password. Page tools reorder, delete, extract or rotate selected pages. Choose a tool or read the practical guide to select and verify your output.
Each operation creates a new copy for a defined purpose. MergePilot does not edit PDF text, apply OCR, redact sensitive information or replace a final review of the generated file.
Processing in the browser
For currently available operations, documents are read and processed directly in the browser; they do not need to be sent to a MergePilot server. This reduces file exposure but does not eliminate risks from your device, browser, installed extensions or the network used to access the site. Read the Privacy Policy and the guide’s local privacy section.
Capacity and speed depend on available memory, browser, device and file complexity. Damaged, encrypted or unsupported PDFs may fail or produce a partial result. Keep the original, work on a copy and open the output before replacing, sending or archiving any file.
Project principles
- Privacy: keep current processing in the browser and explain its limits.
- Simplicity: show a recognizable task and result without requiring PDF expertise.
- Accessibility: use semantic structure, keyboard navigation, labels and understandable messages.
- Transparency: explain what each tool does, what it does not do and when it may fail.
- Practical usefulness: prioritize specific operations for organizing or preparing real documents.
